High-quality Paint Protection Film typically lasts 8–10 years (Colour PPF lasts 5-8 years), depending on the film type, driving conditions, and how the vehicle is maintained. Our PPF is designed to resist UV damage, yellowing, and minor impacts, providing long-term protection for your paint. With proper care and professional installation, many customers enjoy reliable performance for years without the need for frequent replacement.

Installation time depends on the coverage level and vehicle complexity. In most cases: Front Impact or Full Front installations take 1–2 days; Full Coverage installations typically take 3–5 days. This allows sufficient time for proper preparation, precise installation, and post-install inspection to ensure a clean, long-lasting result.

When applied to original factory-painted metal panels, PPF does not damage the paint when professionally removed. However, PPF is not recommended for certain surfaces due to a higher risk of paint lift during removal, including: repainted or aftermarket paintwork, gloss black (piano black) plastic trims, carbon fibre surfaces, special or coated headlight finishes. For best results and safety, PPF is designed for original factory paint on metal body panels. We always assess the vehicle condition before installation and will advise honestly if any area is not suitable for PPF.

High-quality PPF is designed to resist yellowing and UV damage. When properly installed and maintained, modern PPF remains clear for many years. In some cases, lower-grade films, harsh environmental exposure, or poor maintenance may cause discolouration over time. That’s why we use quality films with advanced UV protection and follow strict installation standards to ensure long-term clarity.

Colour PPF combines paint protection and colour change in one product. It is thicker, more durable, and protects the original paint from stone chips, scratches, and UV damage, while also changing the vehicle’s colour. Colour PPF typically lasts 5–10 years. Vinyl Wrap is primarily designed for aesthetic colour change. It is thinner, more flexible, and more cost-effective, but offers limited protection against impacts and wear. Vinyl wrap usually lasts 2–3 years. In short, Colour PPF is for protection + appearance, while vinyl wrap is mainly for appearance.
